James “Jim” Mueller is a senior executive search consultant with nearly twenty-five years experience developing and leading internal executive recruiting organizations with companies such as IBM, Marriott International, The Gillette Company, The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and Freddie Mac. He consistently improved all metrics regarding internal search performance and was instrumental in conducting senior leadership search assignments spanning multiple industries across global markets and virtually every function within large and small companies. In 2012, Jim founded and served as Managing Partner for Executive Search Advisory Partners, LLC, a human capital consulting firm specializing in advising organizations on executive recruiting process and performance improvement
His career in Human Resources also includes roles in compensation, leadership development, employee relations, succession planning and staffing process improvement for other companies in the CPG, defense and oil industries. His prior search consulting practice focused on improving senior leadership search performance and results for private equity firms.
Jim holds a BS in Personnel and Industrial Relations from Syracuse University and is an active member of numerous executive recruiting associations. Jim is based in North Carolina.
